Shaping the Future of Humanities Research
The computational humanities utilize digital tools like AI and machine learning to further humanities research. As algorithms, digitization and AI become more impactful, it is essential that humanists engage with these tools directly so that we can best understand them, build alternatives as necessary, and create new knowledge that utilizes all the exciting possibilities of the present moment. We believe that digital tools are not a replacement for the traditional humanities but resources that humanists can use to open up new avenues of discovery.
